ALMOND BODY BUTTER

If you want a natural alternative, this body butter is a great way to incorporate healthy lifestyle habits.

This rich and creamy body butter is perfect for winter dryness, it has a light, fluffy texture and leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized and of course it smells amazing!.

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup cocoa butter

  • ½ cup shea butter

  • ½ cup coconut oil

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • 1Tbsp. favorite essential oil (mine is almond but you can try lavender, coconut, etc)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine cocoa, shea, coconut and olive oil in a double boiler.

  2. Let melt completely.

  3. Stir to combine all the ingredients and let cool until solid.

  4. Add the essential almond oil and whip it until creamy.

  5. Fill containers immediately before mixture goes firm again.

Tips

If you are in a hurry, you can let the mix cool in the freezer to get solid faster after the step 1.

You can tell when its ready to whip because it changes color and texture.
